This is the original sample for the Comfy Shorts design from my book, Knits for Boys. This one is perfect for a hot natured kiddo that likes to be cozy but doesn’t want to wear pants, and are great for lounging around inside (and out). With an elastic waist, they are nice and stretchy while still being super soft. This design features extra room for the booty and a gusseted crotch. This is an average size for 4-6 year old children. Base sizing decision on actual measurements, as opposed to ages, whenever possible.
