Tailoring Workshop
as a designer, it’s always been my goal to design patterns that provide knitter’s with a variety of customization options that allow them to create garments that fit and flatter their unique and individual bodies.
no matter how many options a pattern has, we are all uniquely beautiful in our different shapes and sizes.
I developed this course years ago and have taught it dozens of times in order to enable knitter’s to modify and customize their projects in areas where “standard sizing” doesn’t work for them. while there are “standard/average body measurements,” there is no such thing as a standard body. I hope you’ll enjoy this foray into understanding what goes into a knitting pattern, background information on gauge & ease, choosing your size, along with a multitude of worksheets that will allow you to customize future projects so that they are just right for you. you’ll even be provided with finishing tips to make your garment just so!
I had a student preview this course for you and here’s her feedback:
This course is great! I am so happy I found a course that will help me make my sweaters fit me exactly. I cannot wait to use this information for my next sweater.

Adding Shoulder Shaping
Short Row Shoulder shaping can really improve the shape of your neckline as well as provide extra room in the back neck area of your sweater should your body need it.
