Both sweaters are worked from the top down with seamless, raglan-style sleeves. Worksheets are included should you desire a body or sleeve length that differs from either of the cropped or standard length options that are already included along with a yarn chart that provides amounts per inch, size & sweater section.

EXPERIENCE
These easy, quick-knit pieces are perfectly suitable for adventurous beginning knitters. A provisional cast-on is utilized, but instructions are provided to replace it with a standard cast-on if you are not yet comfortable with this technique. To knit these pieces sweater, all you need to know is basic increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches, cable cast–on along with standard cast-on and bind-off, for Lacey Fluff you should also know how to work yarnovers.
YARN NOTE
These sweaters are worked with yarn held double throughout; all yardage provided is based on this assumption. If you choose to substitute a yarn that will be held single, you will likely not need quite as much yarn. Patterns also features charts showing yarn needed per inch and per size, in both body and sleeves in order to allow you to easily modify both sleeve and body length to your exact desired measurements. Sweaters are worked at a looser gauge, which is successful with high alpaca or mohair content because the fibers bloom significantly to create a solid fabric. If using an alternate fiber, consider using a heavier weight yarn in order to achieve gauge without a loose fabric.
